Being thankful first thing in the morning will absolutely change your outlook on life.   

Practice gratitude on a daily basis and you will be surprised how your life takes a positive turn.  Your mind will start to shift from negative thoughts to more positive thoughts.  You will see things in a different light and become aware of your surroundings and all the blessings that God has provided.  

If you focus on the things that you don't have you will live in a place of lack and it will be harder to manifest abundance into your life.  

If you want to live a life of abundance it starts with gratitude.

Lean On The Lord As He Is Your Strength And Stay

When you feel like life is slipping away and things are not lining up the way you had expected, the one thing you can do is lean on God.  He is absolutely your strength and stay in these precarious times.  

This is how you lean on God:  

• Let God guide you and lead you
• Control your thoughts (stay positive)
• Pray bold prayers when asking for what you need/want
• Refer to God's word and his promises for your life
• Sing his praises 

You will find that gradually you will come to lean on him and it will become a daily habit.

For such a complicated year like this and with so many problems and issues to face, God is asking you to trust him to take you through it.  If we do our part rest assured that he will make sure that things will work out in your favor.  

If we look at Ephesians 3:20 it states:

"Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

Having A Grateful Mind And A Grateful Heart Will Change Your Life

Having a grateful heart and mind can change your future.  Being grateful despite the circumstances around you is the key to a blessed life. Gratitude can deflect negative thoughts and emotions, reduce depression, and increases serotonin levels in the body.   

Thessalonians 5:18

"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

God wants us to be grateful for the littlest things that are meaningful in our lives, and to appreciate what we have.  You might not be living your dream life now but while you wait for that season have a grateful mind and a grateful heart.   Focus on the blessings that you have now and not on the things that you don't have (yet)!

You Are Stronger Than You Know

Being strong is essential especially in these uncertain times, but some days it can be harder to accomplish this.  That is why we need to lean on the creator and get our strength from him.  When we get our strength from God he will give us his peace and this will eventually strengthen our faith.   

"Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe".

You Are Blessed Beyond Measure

During this difficult time that our country is going through, we must focus on the blessings that are bestowed upon us such as having a roof over our heads, healthy food to nourish our bodies, and other creature comforts that we take for granted.

Simply focusing on our blessings from God, we take the focus off of the things that are attacking our mental and emotional well-being.  A healthy emotional state is needed during this time so we can cope with the issues of the day and be balanced and well.  Take some time to appreciate what you have and not focus so much on what you don't have.  You will find that you are blessed beyond measure.

Greater Is Coming Just Hold On

The month of May is a time of renewal and change.  You might have been under oppression and faced with adversity, but greater is coming!   You are now entering a time when you will see the fruits of your labor, you walked up that hill and now you are on the other side.

The bible states "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."    Galatians 6:9.  Greater is coming just hold on!

Choose Faith Over Fear When Trouble Comes

During this challenging time, it is easy to be fearful. given the dreary circumstances surrounding this pandemic.  However, if we become fearful it will lead only lead to anxiety, depression and poor health. 

In times of trouble, this is when we need to hold steadfast to God and let him be your support system.  Follow the guidelines to protect yourself and let God be your refuge and strength.  Choose faith over fear when trouble comes my friends! 

In Times Of Trouble Patience Is Required

In these troubling times, one of the most important virtues needed is patience.   A patient person makes better decisions, is healthier and wiser.  Being patient allows you to think more long-term as opposed to short-term.

Waiting patiently with a calm spirit is setting an example for your loved ones to do the same whether it is your children, your younger sibling, or an elderly friend or neighbor.

For the coming weeks ahead I would urge you to be patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.  Have a safe week!

Pray And Do Not Lose Heart

The word prayer is mentioned 132 times in the KJV bible.  Jesus not only instructed us to pray but he said to pray for one another.  

With all the uncertainty we are experiencing due to the 'invisible enemy' among us, we need to heed his example even more and pray for our neighbors and loved ones.  Hold onto your belief, pray and do not lose heart!.  

  

Call It In - Speak Your Dreams Into Existence

God places dreams into our hearts not for it to lay dormant but to be fulfilled.  One powerful way to speak your dreams into existence is to CALL IT IN.  Meaning to verbally repeat over and over the dream that you are seeking.  Say it out loud, speak it, believe it...but also it is wise to take action so it can manifest. 

God has a plan for your life and no one can stop it from happening but you. 

Call it in!  Speak your dreams into existence, and when that dream manifests thank God for it. 

Don't Doubt Just Believe

Your current situation is not your final destination.  

Don't be a doubting Thomas.  Progress is essential when pursuing your passions.  Even when you don't see anything happening behind the scenes God is working on your behalf.  Just Believe.  Jesus said, "Blessed are they that have not seen and have believed."

From today on, stop doubting what God has planned for you.  Keep moving towards your goals and dreams.

Awaken Your Dreams And Visions

God has a big life for you, bigger than you ever dreamed.  It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from and your educational level or your age, your dreams and visions are limitless you just need to awaken them.  You need to have a clear vision for your life and write it down, submit it to God and take action.

Create a vision board for your dreams.  A vision board does not have to be an actual physical board - you can use your phone screensaver and upload all your future dreams, or you can utilize Pinterest and create a "secret board" where you can pin all your visions. Just do it!  This simple action will build momentum for your dreams to manifest themselves.
